Gene and Nancy Tussing were at that first attempt to create a fan club as Cary Agaganian suggested after I wanted to start my quest to help the racers. There were about 10 of us at that meeting and the first assignment was to name the club. After a lot of suggestions, Nancy said you name it, thus Wagtimes was born. When we had our first event at Ascot at the Don Peobody race, we collected money and sold Wagtimes t-shirts and ate Mrs Wags Chili. Gene and Nancy financed the Brad Noffsinger created shirts and we were on the way. Nancy was always busy and was having fun so when she joined the Orange County Sherrif's Department, it wasn't a surprise. Unfortunately she died at her computer one night when Gene took out the trash and returned with her gone. Sad, not because she was the first Wagtimer we lost, but because she was a big loss to us. R.I.P. Nancy.
