KAEDING CAPTURES SECOND WESTERN WORLD AT MANZANITA.

THE WAGSDASH AUCTION FINALLY ENDS AT THE KINDOLL CLASSIC.

Well it’s down to one night for all the marbles and surely you will be there at Perris Auto Speedway this coming weekend when Rip Williams finally gets the monkey off his back. With a 50 point lead for his first ever championship, The Ripper will be loaded for ....... Demon! It won’t be easy with Damion Gardner gunning for his first championship as well, but the black # 3 will probably prevail yet not before some scintillating action on the track between these two. I can’t wait to see victory circle.

There are so many questions that remain to be answered on November 20th. Will we have another first time winner like last year, will Rip punctuate his championship with his 7th USAC/CRA win of the year, will the Demon steal his 9th win of the season with the club, can "Volcano" Kirby put his Manzy Mask on for one more win in the # 38 car, will Steve “the hired gun” Ostling get his annual win this week, can the Kruser bypass em’ all and win another for the Alexander’s, can Super Rickie get his first USAC/CRA win to go along with his SCRA Championship, can Jordan Hermansader get his much wanted and first deserving win, will Mike Spencer finally climb on the top of the podium, will Lance Gremett come back to defend his title, will Levi Jones put Harlan’s # 45 car in the winner’s circle, can Josh Ford beat Cory again for the Ventura championship, is my dark horse Bobby Cody ready to score a big win, will Adam Mitchell un-retire or be there to unload his stuff, can Jason York shake it off and repeat his win, And will you be there????

With the musical chairs part of the year going on now, what is coming up and when will the announcements appear? Already Glenn Crossno has replaced Mike Kirby with Cory Kruseman for next season. Cory decided he didn’t like being away from his family for such long periods of time and didn’t feel the exposure back there was going to be any better than running nearer to home, so he was looking to race locally again. Cory still plans to run the “big” USAC races back in the mid west when he has a break in the USAC/CRA schedule, but will be glad to call home his house and not his motorhome coach.

Mike Kirby has landed on his feet in the wingless car of Larry Woodward’s stable to go along with the Joey Saldana’s WOO car. With one team each in USAC/CRA and WOO, Larry hopes to win two championships! Volcano Joe’s coffee is the major sponsor and Kirby reports he tried it and “it is really good stuff”! Mike and his devoted pit crew that has been with him a long time, will be building the cars immediately. They have a new shop and will be very busy in the short off season getting their Mopar powered sprinter ready for next season. Crew chief Brett Roa is charged with doing the “shopping” and is busy as we speak getting everything organized for 2005. TCR will supply the chassis, as Mike did outstanding in the Crossno TCR’s, and he doesn’t see a need for change. While some are off having fun racing this weekend, this Wag will be in Idaho with four very busy granddaughters! Hope everyone has fun wherever they go, and I hope I don’t see any snow while I am up there. With an off weekend, many will be home working on their equipment as more than 50 cars are expected to take part in the annual Kindoll Classic that honors the memory of Wilda Kindoll’s husband Jack who passed away many years ago. Their cars won five CRA championships with Jimmy Oskie at the wheel of the familiar blue car. It’s not too late to get involved in lap money for the race as the USC/CRA season ending race is building for a high paying finale.

The Wagsdash auction will wrap up at Perris next Saturday with many things happening in the Wagtime’s booth. The drawings for the pocket rocket and the unfinished quilt will happen during intermission and tickets are still available for both. The two autographed helmets and several photo’s are still left in the Wagsweb auction going on this week. You must have your bid in to me by midnight Friday night to be posted on the website, but can up that bid at the track until intermission on Saturday night. Go to Wags auction here and bid by e-mail or call me at 949-472-9247. Also available at the track is what’s left of the Wagsdash t-shirts and a few 2005 calendars. Come to the Wagtimes booth and get yours.
