The PAS and what I found

Here is my first shot of the day. I have no idea other than camera check. Let's call it the Bud shot.

Jerry Welton Jr doesn't miss many Perris races. He barely missed the main this week.

A Jerry Welton Jr crew member. These guys come to have fun and are excited to hear the WAG$CA$H will be at Santa Maria this year.

Another crewmember of Jerry's having a ball each race.

The Ripper looked strong, then had a misunderstanding with the stater in the main.

Cody Williams looked good until he turned it over in the main on the start.

Awesome Austin Williams was all that in running from the back up to 5th on the night.

Another shot of the black # 2.

Here Cody gets to work on his ride.

Austin also gets to work on his ride.

Seth Wilson has his car up on jacks here. He made the feature and ran 11th.

A side view of the former Victorville front runner.

Grandpa Perkins got one of their many rigs parked.

And then more showed up.

And then more.

The door is coming down on the Alexander rig.

And walah - lets unload.

Another big rig pulls in.

Brian Williams car comes out for another run with the Seniors. He won the last race here, but he unfortunately took the ride of his life with a nasty looking crask in a borrowed car.

There are a lot of fat tires out there.

Ricky Gaunt drove David Miller's car for one qualifying lap and then the motor blew up, ending his night.

Verne Sweeney came out again and made the main where he ran 14th.

It takes a while to prepare to unload when you have worked so hard. The Alexander crew always work hard.

I know that R J Johnson is ready to unload after his long trip over the desert.

Jace and Richard VanderWeerd came down to play.

I think that is Tom Roberts of the David Miller crew.

Brody Roa made the main and ran 8th this week. He keeps getting better.

Up the ramp he goes and he works hard on his car.

Brett Roa looks at the WOO car of Bill Rose.

Bill had a lot of work to do on his wing car.

David Bezio has a 410 under the hood now! He was 9th in the main!

The Kittle Kar looks odd without the shocks on it yet.

Jake Swanson's ride. He pulled in early when it started smoking and finished 16th.

The nice thing about Perris is they allow the rigs to go in and get work done before going out to the pit booth to sign in. I often wonder why they don't do this sign and pay thing online ahead of time so only the signing in part would happen at the booth and surely it would speed up the process.

Lining up on the booth creates a lot of visiting!

Mode of transportation from the pits to the pit booth is mostly 4 wheelers.

Mike English visits as he comes with Wiley Miller to the races these days.

Line up and wait, it was a long one wait this week.

Jake Swanson and his friend give a smile.

The famous Michnowicz smile? Kevin really did try, I think, and his mom Wendy always smiles.

R J Johnson ponders his night.

Hi, I am Vern Sweeney. Remember me?

Dan Hillberg smiles because he's happy hanging out at the races with his car owner and other friends.

Beezer is holding up the EZ-UP.

Vinnie is teaching Ryan Bernal how to act. Hmmm?

Rick says he did it and Jimbo laughs.

Steve Howard and Grandpa Perkins relaxing.

There's that pair in the mule again.

I'm not sure what those are for? Rain Shields, playpen for the kids or a taget for shooting your favorite weapon at? I give up.

A J Benders ride looks really good. Later he would ruffle it up a bit with a crash in hot laps.

Another shot of A J Benders # 11.

Josh Ford's ride is lost in the little cars pits.

Here's a better shot.

And here's Josh himself.

Matt Mitchell came too late to get in the right side of the pits and had to settle for this spot at the other end.

Matt ran third this week.

Matt was relaxing at this point in time.

Billy Blinn drove this dazzler under the lights.

Billy just missed the main.

The wingy things of Bobby and his son Kevin Michnowicz.

One of the Senior cars.

Cal Smith came to play.

Another Senior car ready to rock n' roll.

David Cardey's car looks sharp. He dropped out of the main when the throttle stuck.

Hubcap Mike Collins ran hard this week.

Kenny Perkins ride missed the main by one spot after restarting the Semi at the back and coming back up to 7th. Kenny did good in the black # 0K.

A very pretty Senior competitor car.

Cory Ballard ran hard but missed the main this week.

Another shot of David Bezio's ride.

Tony Everhart made the main and ran 15th in this car. He had the mysterious Matt Stewart in his pit with an arm in a sling. Motocross anyone?

Ronnie Gardner gave this one a great ride into the main before finding the wall.

Bill Rose was happy to be here after his WOO rainout in No Cal.

Mike Cook got his Noffsinger car on it's head in turn three in the Senior main and was hooked back to the pits.

Brody Roa, right, is using his phone to keep track while Jake Swanson comes to visit.

Austin Smith had his moments this week and had some fun.

Verne was happy about his night and rolling it on the trailer, ready for next time.

Caught ya! Is that a new hat Verne, or perhaps one that has been on the hook a while, waiting....

Nic Faas rode this one hard and almost pulled off another win this week.

Ryan Bernal's new 410 ride, the little blue bugger. He ran a strong 4th.

Rick and Vinnie came along with Ryan to work on the # 18 car. Vinnie has been helping Ryan for several years now, so he has seen up close this talented 18 year old's progress.

This shot makes me think Jimbo has found where Randy hides the Jack.

Paul Dean and Jimbo ready to go to work.

Paul works while Ryan takes on a can of Red Bull.

The 18 car looks spotless as my camera went kaput here.
