Garlit's crash in 1970 at Ascot that changed Top Fuel

Don's run was at Ascot (I was up in the grandstands that night even with the starting line and had a birds eye view of this shocking crash. Up until this race almost all of the rear engine cars were never really that competitive. As soon as Don recovered, he built what is still today the blueprint for all the top fuel cars still running)
