First yellow flag flies with 12 laps down for Alan Ballard when his car came out of geaqr. Restart with Sheridan, Gaunt, Davis, Kruseman, Ford, Jones, Ostling, Gardner, Rodriguez.

Lap 28 Gardner might have a rear end problem as he slowed and Rip touched him, then spun around and continued on. Gardner to the work area. Jimmy Crawford spun to avoid Rip. Restart with Kruseman, Sheridan, Gaunt, Davis, Ripper, Spencer, Ford, Kirby, Ostling I think? Jones had a flat and lost a muffler and will restart at the rear after gaining third. Kirby now has a flat right rear and also will go back. They are working Gardners car trying to get new gears in.

Lap 32 Graham spins in turn four. Gardner and Jones did not start the last restart. Restart with Kruseman, Sheridan, Ripper, Gaunt, Davis, Spencer, Ostling, Ford, and so on.
