CRA 1 AM RACE RESULTS

Mike Spencer finally does the victory dance!!!!

The day was nice and a little breezy, but Damion set fast time again, and on we went. Davey Pombo had a new car with his colors and Ben Lancaster's motor and number. He rode over a wheel in his heat and crashed pretty hard. He seemed to be ok, but I heard he went to the hospital to check about something in his eyes. Thed main started with Kirby and Spencer up front. Both have been there before. The green dropped and Spencer took off never to be headed. Kirby gave it a run, but had a handling problem that eventually set him back a bit. Mighty Mike just continued on as Super Rickie have chase and then The Ripper. A great battle between Rip and Damion, until Rip took the spot, and then several in a cluster including Kirby, Tony Jones, Cory Kruseman, Danny Sheridan and David Cardey. In the end, Rip couldn't get clear of traffic enough to chase down the youjng driver and Mike got his first ever win after a lot of close tries. He was too fast to catch this time and stayed strong to the end. Danny Sheridan had the pass of the night when he slid Cory and Damion on one joust as he looked really racy. More tomorrow late as its family reunion day.
