CRA 1 AM RACE RESULTS

Windy, windy, windy! That was the day and night of it. The feature started out with Tony Jones going to the front and battling with Rickie Gaunt until his motor lost a cylinder and he dropped back to 5th. Rickie held on until a red flew for Cory Kruseman and then Mike Spencer's car got tweaked and he came from 4th to 1st and won going away. They replaced a motor after qualifying and he was just plain fast. Damion Gardner was 2nd quick, but started in the back after the car didn't appear on time for the feature. He looked like Damion of old as he came up to 6th at the end. Josh Wise rolled into 4rd from 11th, Super rickie 4th and The Ripper ran second and looked like this might be the night for a while. The blasting wind was into the face of the grandstand and took some of the luster off the evening. The crowd stayed and it was worth it. It was one ofthose times I wished I was in the press box!
